The Curfew: The utterly gripping Sunday Times bestselling

Joe Lynch is just an ordinary happily-married man - until one split-second decision throws his life into crisis. We follow her as she is released 9 years later, having served half her sentence and still maintaining her innocence. I certainly hope that this is another of the authors books that will be picked up and turned into a TV series , I personally feel that the ending was a little rushed, and the part after Heather’s funeral could’ve been made into a second book to continue the story in much greater detail. She knows she’s not allowed to see them but sneaks a quick look at them before heading to the hostel. I found that they either flattered to deceive, or else they simply didn't live up to the amount of hype surrounding them.

It would also be a perfect treat for any book clubs as I’m sure it would lead to lots of discussions afterwards. Terrified that his cherished only child is about to marry a man who is not what he seems, Ed sets out to uncover Ryan’s secrets. The Mother has just shot up to being my favourite book by Logan which is an impressive feat as I have pretty much loved all of his other books. After the unbearably tense opening chapters, I was glued to the pages, desperate to know what was going to happen next.Four women who have been best friends for as long as they can remember making the most of a luxurious villa in the south of France. All the characters were well described and there were plenty of things happening to throw you off the scent, so many twists and turns.

You’re never quite sure who you can trust, and the fact that his death might be linked to corruption higher up in the government raises the stakes further. This thriller has it all: a darkly charismatic detective, a pair of merciless killers and a propulsive plot that builds towards a devastating finale. M. Logans best and it is saying something to say that as they are all edge of your seat , nail biting , fantastic reads. I felt like the story was disjointed, I didn't have all the information Heather had, the characters felt one-dimensional.

But Heather has no idea what she’s up against and the lengths someone will go to to keep her from discovering the truth! The author sets the scene perfectly as Heather becomes increasingly frustrated of the distant Liam and his heavy work load, it gets to the point where she suspects that he might be having an affair - so there is potential for a motive. Tim Logan has succeeded in creating protagonists that it is easy to visualize being part of the real world and this is enhanced by well-written natural and appropriate dialogue. Teaming up with a journalist they begin to delve deeper into her husband’s activitities as a politician but there are people out there who believe the past should remain in the past and will stop at NOTHING to make sure their secrets stay hidden. The storyline was excellently constructed to keep the reader thinking, just another chapter and then I’ll put it down.
