About this deal

Fipronil kills ticks (Dermacentor reticulatus, Dermacentor variabilis, Rhipicephalus sanguineus, Ixodes scapularis, Ixodes ricinus, Haemaphysalis longicornis, Haemaphysalis flava, Haemaphysalis campanulata) and lice within 48 hours post-exposure. Hold the pipette upright facing away from you and tap the neck to ensure the contents are in the main body of the pipette. Some may die before biting however some may take up to the full 48 hours to die, by which point they will have latched on. I use normal household fly spray around the house, carpets, soft furnishings and bedding, and Frontline on the cat, outside out of harms way.

I took the strays in to be neutered; and the vet was very surprised; that being strays - they were insect free.

This means if you purchase a 3 pack or 6 pack for one pet then it will have enough treatment for 3 or 6 months. Bathing/shampooing/water exposure does not affect the efficacy of the product as long as it doesn’t occur more than once a week. We understand that there are essential items which you need to purchase for your pet on a regular basis, such as food and medication. Unlike other flea treatments, FRONTLINE Plus® kills ticks too, helpingto reduce the risk of tick-borne disease transmission. Unlike other flea treatments, FRONTLINE Plus® kills ticks too, helping to reduce the risk of tick-borne disease transmission.

They die by 'excitation' so it is expected to see increased flea activity during this 48 hour period as the fleas are killed. It is good practice to use a preventative flea treatment anyway as prevention is always easier than treatment when it comes to external parasites. Further information available in the SPC or from Boehringer Ingelheim Animal Health UK Ltd, RG12 8YS, UK. It is important to apply the dose to an area where the animal cannot lick off and to make sure that animals do not lick each other after treatment. I have used frontline on my pets for years and although I occasionally find a flea on my cat it is generally very effective.FRONTLINE Spot On for Cats is for use in the treatment of fleas and the prevention of infestations by fleas and ticks or as part of a treatment strategy for Flea Allergy Dermatitis. I have 2 cats and have been using frontline for some time now, i have to say it works great on my female cat, but for some reason my male cat has still been getting a good amount of fleas recently, even with regular use of frontline, so after reading up i have decided to change him to frontline combo and see if that suits him better, and hopefully we will keep those pests under control. FRONTLINE Plus for Medium Dogs is a topical application for the treatment of flea infestations, alone or in association with ticks and/or biting lice in medium breed dogs weighing >10 - 20kg. I routinely use Frontline as my flea treatment product of choice and only on one occasion have I found it to not be completely effective.

However this is a bird specific mite and so it should not be able to cause an infestation in your dog. Since then I have cats of my own and have always used it regularly on them and there's never been a flea in sight. My dogs run in Moorland, when its its not nesting time, and pick up ticks, particularly the smaller smoother haired spaniel.Used it on my cat on Saturday morning and the fleas were literally dropping off her by Saturday night. Frontline is the best flea product as I discovered many years ago when my housemate's cat got fleas and we tried everything else with no success. It can be applied to cats from 8 weeks of age that weigh at least 1 kg and ferrets from 6 months of age.
