About this deal

In the other side of the spectrum we have Meg who I have never been quite able to swallow. I won't say I completely like her now or anything but, I will say, her character has grown too and the way it has matured is something I can see myself liking more. Since demigods are dyslexic and ADHD, you'd think memorization would be among their learning disabilities.

I tried to focus on the beautiful sunset. I tried not to obsess about my impossible to-do list or the two-headed snake in row sixteen. JASON LEFT CAMP HALF-BLOOD TO GO TO NORMAL SCHOOL AND NEVER GOT A PROPER GOOD-BYE WITH PERCY AND ANNABETH. Prowess in Battle: Luguselwa has centuries of battle training behind her. Being skilled various forms of armed and unarmed combat. Even after her hands were amputated, she is a skilled fighter and a dangerous opponent. though my Top favourite of this series still remains "the Burning Maze", but this one is a close second.Strangely, Nico implies he was at least partly responsible for leaving Bob behind, when in reality it was Percy and Annabeth, though he may simply feel guilty that he's trapped. The next morning, Apollo, Meg, Nico, and Will all travel to the home of Rachel Dare, the Oracle of Delphi. It is revealed that she has only seen visions when Apollo freed the Oracles, but Python is stopping most of them. Furthermore, a group of cattle suddenly arrived that no human can see, and Rachel can see a mansion that is invisible to everyone but her. The group then talks about the Tower of Nero. Rachel shows them blueprints and points of where she thinks the fasces are. She also shows them the basement where vats of greek fire are stored. Nico says they have to tunnel in with help of the trogs and sabotage the vats before Nero can spill them into the city. However, Rachel is overcome by Python and says the last part of the prophecy, predicting Apollo’s death.

I've had so much fun seeing Apollo grow and become this brave person that I feel like I'll be very proud and sad no matter the ending of this book. It has been a great journey so far and though I still don't like Meg I can't say that I won't miss a little bit... or, at least, her interactions with Apollo. The leader is furious and is just about to kill Apollo when he suddenly turns pale and begins to shrivel, leaving nothing but a skeleton. Standing behind the skeleton is Nico di Angelo who tells the frightened technicians that they should leave. Nico grabs him and they leave together to join the battle currently raging. When I have a manuscript that I want to share, I’ll send it off to my agent, and we’ll see where it goes,” he says. I was so afraid to finish it, but also dying to know how it ends. I kept up theorizing this whole year until the book came out. & now I'm joyously thrilled & also simultaneously sad because it has end. (that's the problem with the Great books! you want to finish it ASAP & also you don't want to finish the journey.) Line 7 refers to Rachel Elizabeth Dare. Her combined ability of clear sight paired with knowing the ins and outs of the buildings made her the perfect guide. To be human is to move forward, to adapt, to believe in your ability to make things better. That is the only way to make the pain and sacrifice mean something." There were a lot of reasons I decided to keep going,” Riordan says. “But as more readers discovered it and wanted to be included in the world, I felt like it was a really special and important opportunity to expand the range of characters in Percy’s world.” Riordan's endings are one of the most Satisfying ones in all the books I've ever read, each series, every books. Can Apollo find his godly form again? Will Meg be able to face up to her troubled past? Destiny awaits….

The maturity was so amazing in this book. I hated Apollo so much in the first book and Meg got on my nerves. They were so immature and bratty and annoying. But Tower of Nero really showed how much they’d grown and changed since then and it made me so proud. That character development was both slow and subtle but also so insane and obvious that I just loved it so much. I loved it. Perhaps I was just nervous about what awaited us in New York. After six months in this miserable mortal body, I was approaching my endgame.Going into it I was... nervous and hesitant because, as much as I love Apollo, there were a few things through the books I couldn't quite like and, lest not forget, the task ahead for this closing volume was big and I couldn't quite see how everything would be accomplished satisfactorily in the limited amount of time given. I was not expecting the incredibly emotional journey that I was gonna witness. I thought five books would be all I would need to completely cover Greek mythology. Of course, I was wrong. I barely scratched the surface,” he says. Going into The Tower of Nero, I found it very interesting that Riordan chose to take Nero and Python down in a single book, as opposed to dedicating one book to each. But I think that was a good idea as each villain compliments the other.

Meg McCaffrey: A twelve-year-old demigod daughter of Demeter. She is described as a colorfully dressed street urchin. She is fierce, bossy, and tight-lipped about her past. She has a grain spirit protector named Peaches. She becomes Apollo's master in The Hidden Oracle. It seems to me, that The Tower of Nero outdid itself in all the ways it could and gave a fitting ending to this story. A story that, may I add, we have been following from the very beginning of the saga. As I read this series, I felt as if I was reading a character that represented my younger self, and when I was younger most characters I read about were people that I wanted to be. People that were so cool and amazing. But Meg is not a typical main character in a middle grade book and I just connected with her so much throughout the series. Not really sure where I was going with this... just wanted all my thoughts written down.Is there a particular cameo you can tease us with? Is there someone fans are going to be really surprised or excited to see? Apollo goes to Camp Jupiter to see that Hazel and Frank have created a successful reconstruction project and that Hazel’s curse is broken. Everyone else is thriving and Percy and Annabeth even say they are heading to college. They hint that their trip was more dangerous than it seemed, but they are happy to be at the camp. They mourn Jason’s death and agree that he was the best hero they had. Then, Apollo visits Piper, accidentally interrupting a kiss with her girlfriend. Piper says she is doing well and knows that Apollo has not forgotten about Jason and his promise. Hazel Levesque suddenly arrives, as well as two more of the euronymous. They enter the tunnel while Hazel tries to kill the euronymous. Apollo tries to sing a song to help Hazel but is scratched in the stomach by a eurynomous before Hazel kills it. Due to the scratch, Apollo starts to turn into a corpse. Hazel sees Jason's coffin and is terrified because she had a dream about Jason being killed by Caligula. The five arrive in Camp Jupiter, where they are greeted by Frank Zhang and Reyna Ramirez-Arellano, the praetors. The camp decides that they will all carry on with Jason's plan to build temples honoring the gods.
