The world’s shortest charging cable? This may also be part of the company’s environmental policy – to save on materials. If nothing else, it gave me a good laugh. (Photo: Åsa Warme Hallén) Comfort and ease of use

The Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) mode in T2 reduces outside noise which allows you to fully immerse yourself in your own world.

At the same time, I think a part of the problem is that Sudio T2’s ANC isn’t very noise-cancelling at all when compared to the ANC of other earbuds I’ve tried. As soon as your phone recognizes that a phone call is incoming, T2 will automatically pause what you are listening and switch to transparency mode, then let you decide whether to answer the phone call or not. The T2 earbuds charge their batteries automatically when placed inside the charging case, this is indicated by the LED lights on the earbuds. Make sure to first remove the protective film which is covering the charging connectors. Press either earbud for 2 seconds: Switch between regular mode, active noise cancellation (ANC), or hear-through The Sudio T2 supports Bluetooth 5.2 for 10m of range and high bandwidth. Unfortunately, only a single SBC CODEC is featured when I would have liked to see AAC or aptX make an appearance. Battery Life

Environmental sounds and voices sound quite natural, though wind/air seems to be heard louder than usual. Battery life Go into the Bluetooth settings on your device. The T2 earbud LED lights are flashing white and orange while scanning for available devices. If the earbuds are earbudsnot connecting, it can be because the Bluetooth on the computer has a pairing problem. To fix this, you can do the following: If you have any other Bluetooth devices connected to the same device that your T2 is paired with, such as other wireless audio products, smartwatches, keyboards, mice etc., disconnect all but T2. If you notice a difference, you can then pair each device again one by one. The controls I found are really responsive and react right away and are not too sensitive either. With the touch controls they do the following: If it came with physical buttons (personal preference), had better ANC and instructions for switching between the modes, I’d recommend it as a budget-friendly pair of quality wireless earbuds without hesitation.

I may possibly be the only one to experience this first world problem, but I have to admit it: I find it a little difficult to know which earplug should sit in the right and left ear. Therefore, Sudio receives extra credit for marking the plugs with L and R. Thank you! Other physical objects in your vicinity can also cause interference, including (but not limited to); walls, large solid objects, jewelry, metal objects, microwaves, or any object that emits frequencies of 2.4GHz. Update 1 Apr 2022: Sudio has launched a smartphone app to support EQ adjustment and ANC control. Read on to the section on app review.

Has Sudio succeeded this time?

The Sudio E2 is the new flagship product which comes with the company’s most-advanced features like Hybrid ANC, Transparency mode, VividVoice, and wireless charging. The new Dirac Spatial Audio feature improves the listening experience favourably and differentiates from many other competitive true wireless earbuds. It also comes with smartphone app to customise EQ so you can make the earbuds sound the way you like. The touch controls is responsive and are easy to use. The touch surface is not overly sensitive so I do not encounter any accidental mis-touches. Cycling through Ambient mode, ANC, and regular mode will play different sounds instead of a voice cue. For example, ANC mode will play a train-like sound to let you know that you are in ANC mode. Ambient mode / Transparency mode T2 uses Bluetooth version 5.2 which is compatible with a wide range of Bluetooth devices. The paired device does not need to be the same version, but similar versions are more likely to maintain a strong connection. What is Sudio T2 BLE? There’s some great energy in this bass response, as the low frequencies showcase a booming timbre that’s both smooth and punchy. This is helped by a considerable sub-bass presence which adds a soft vibration to the bass and gives it a buttery texture. Bass instruments are separated naturally for an extra layer of clarity, but these vibrations are definitely the most dominant in the mix. At their very best, bass drones can feel like they’re emanating right off your skull. Mids The ANC quality is close to the Sudio T2. Though the low-frequency rumbles are reduced, you can still hear the high-frequency hissing sounds in an airplane cabin. If you play music over it, the ANC should be adequate, but if you want ANC even for no-music, you might need to pay a bit more for premium earbuds like the Technics AZ60, which reduces overall cabin sound effectively, leaving only very quiet engine hissing sound.

I had to really listen and keep switching to try and discern which mode I was in at any one time, which to me isn’t very user-friendly. For each mode, a different noise would play, but again, the illustration-only manual gave me no indication of what each one actually meant. In these cases, we recommend that you disconnect/remove the connection, and restart the pairing process. If you want to start over completely fresh, you can restart your device and perform a factory reset on Sudio T2. I can't find the correct device in the Bluetooth listFinally, the highs on the T2 make the audio quality worthwhile, the treble makes a big impact and keeps the sound engaging. There is a great shine across the highs that give the tonality a great layer of texture which adds character. The treble will please most listeners. ANC In all, the Sudio T2 is a great pair of earphones and the brand is constantly and visibly improving each new product it releases. The mechanics behind Active Noise Cancellation is in its name. The built-in microphones on T2 listen to the noise outside the earbuds while using the speaker to emit the same noise - but inverted - inside, reducing the outside noise nearly entirely. The ANC in T2 uses Feed Forward technology, which uses the microphone on the outside of the earbud to forward noise to the internal processor.
